never thought i'd see this guy. true icon for me. creater and inspiration for the Band Aid "Do they know it's christmas?" single--which started opening doors (ears) to a whole new musical world out there for me at the time (ultravox, boomtown rats, spandau ballet, sting, u2, wham!...)

probably one of THE people that i would still love the opportunity to meet and thank.
